Entertainment etc.
Festivals are celebrated
in AKS to give a upbeat mood to inmates. Festivals like Independence
Day, Diwali, Holi, Teej, Rakhi etc., are enjoyed by them with great
fervor. There are indoor games like Table Tennis, Small children enjoy
swings, done every now and then Magic Show, Movies, Fun and Fare shows
are made available to them. Outstations visits are arranged
occasionally. Visits to Agra, Jaipur, Shimla etc., are in fresh memory.
It was a great moment to have blessings from Ex-President of India, Sh.
APJ Abdul Kalam, in the Rastrapati Bhavan on New Year Day.
